Diceland!

Ever misplaced your pair of dies in the monopoly game
Ever thought the colour of dice now and the colour you had is not really the same
A shade too dark gets replaced by a shade too light
You tell yourself, it must be your callousness responsible for this colour change plight
Well, my dear gamers, the truth is far from what you perceive
Your blinkers might not even allow you now to believe
But, as they say, lies don’t have life dated eternity
Time has come, when I roll you to the Dice City!
They call themselves the ‘Fortune Tempters’ a niche of a tribe
Born with just 1 face, as they grow, rest 5 take time to ascribe
With their city carved out into 6 lanes, 6 blocks
Sea waves hit every 6th second on hexagonal rocks
Their phase of literacy includes tricks of trade
Like which face to show, the one wished for or the one that everyone forbade
Another lesson which gamers perceive as luck
" which side to fall when balanced on its edge?
Should I fall immediately or should the spin time be stretched?"
All this, while ensuring smart players don’t deduce patterns in their moves
As a part of emergency evacuation, if confused, they are advised to fall into unseen grooves
Behind the sofa, below your shin
Ensuring, never for you, it is an easy win
After a tiring game of spins and falls,
They go back to their native land, with their cat crawl
To send their counterpart back to your box
While they go back to the land of hexagonal rocks
The new die is almost the same shade, but not really, Almost as old? barely: D
